Hello there, I'm Leisha Scott!

 

Hi, I’m Leisha Scott, a contemporary abstract artist living in Blythewood, South Carolina, with my wonderful husband and children. My artistic journey started in my late twenties as a therapeutic escape and has grown into a fulfilling passion and career. While I began my art business during the pandemic in 2020, I’ve truly dedicated myself to painting professionally over the past two years.

My faith in Jesus Christ is the foundation of everything I do, and I strive to create with purpose and heart. I’m a self-taught, intuitive artist who loves working with mixed media, including acrylics, oil, ink, and even collage. My pieces are known for their rich textures, organic shapes, and patterns, often accented with pops of bold color and gold touches. My inspiration comes from everywhere—nature, flowers, interior design, and even the swirl of emotions life brings.

For me, painting is not just an act of creating but also an act of faith—embracing the moment and trusting the process. I hope my work stirs something within each viewer, evoking emotions or connecting them to cherished memories.

When I’m not in the studio, you can find me spending time with my family, playing board games, gardening, or enjoying the great outdoors. I also love volunteering as PTO President at my daughter’s school. Currently, I’m honored to be represented by The Studio Collective, where I get to share my passion with a wider audience.
